Pros
The people are friendly and the accounts that you service out in the field are like family. Everyone in the home office is supportive and tries to help us out. This past year they have put more emphasis on building the brand and having a more selective distribution. During the pandemic they kept us fully compensated, many of my friends who work for different eyewear companies were not.
Cons
Lots of changing priorities and rules around our sales programs. Minimum buy ins can be a challenge for some accounts. More selective distribution eliminated accounts that were not doing enough business, but were good customers otherwise.
