Pros

Whether your position is in authorizations, customer service representative, patient financial services, site management, or technician...this company provides for individuals entering the out-patient radiology industry. Within a year or less you will come to understand the true meaning of revenue vs. patient care.

Cons

*There is a desperate need for innovation within this company. *Lack of communication within all departments. *Patients are double to triple booked for all modalities. *On a daily basis patients are anger and frustrated due to changes made by management that cause them to wait for an extended period of time after their appointment, or to be rescheduled. *Be prepared for baseball, football, and hockey players to become stat add ons to your filled schedule. Again, causing patients already scheduled prior to wait for extended periods of time, or to be rescheduled. *Quality metrics. *Increasing consensus of bullying and negativity from upper management to their subordinates. *Pay-for-Performance schemes. *High deductibles and premiums for employee healthcare benefits. *Lack of adequate supplies for all modalities and administrative support.

Pros

Supportive team environment with meaningful projects and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in healthcare marketing. Interns are trusted with real responsibilities and receive valuable exposure to branding, communications, and business operations.

Cons

Because the company is growing rapidly, there is always something new to learn and adapt to, which can create a fast-paced environment for interns.

Pros

I've been with SimonMed for almost four years and have had the opportunity to see the organization evolve significantly during that time. The company has embraced a forward-thinking approach, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and long-term growth. Recent leadership changes have brought fresh energy, clear direction, and meaningful investments in both operational improvements and the employee experience. It's encouraging to work for an organization that is actively investing in new technology, modernizing processes, strengthening its brand, and positioning itself for the future. There are opportunities to contribute ideas, take on new challenges, and be part of meaningful initiatives that impact the business while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Cons

As with any growing organization, change can happen quickly and adapting to new processes takes time. Continued communication during periods of growth and transformation is always beneficial.
