Pros
It was a good stepping stone for me to start my career. My first year working there was probably the most I learned and after that the growth for professional knowledge became stagnant (I worked there for 4 years). I was given opportunities to do other task, but it was mainly me bringing my previous experiences to the table and no guidance to excel in it. I received salary increases for hard work, but the lack of challenges in my department made working there un-motivating. I stayed longer than I should have, but I was able to gain good relationships with new colleagues.
Cons
Low pay salary at the beginning. A lot upper management turnover. Unclear direction. Not much opportunities for training. Needed an HR department the time I was working there. A lot of cross-functional duties that should have been separated into multiple employees in different departments. Not many Holidays. Little PTO. My salary turned into hourly the last 2 months I was there (could not negotiate rate).
