Pros
Having been in the business for around 2 years a few points come to mind: - The growth/earning potential for those coming straight out of university to ahead of most industries. - Life Sciences certainly provides not only an interesting industry, but one with far larger fees than seen across other recruitment industries. - Largely 360 recruitment - Great company culture, that is also inclusive. The business take care in putting you into the correct team, each with their own but strong culture. That being said, across the board, there is somewhat of a company wide culture. Little drama and the large majority of people have built strong friendships branching outside the workplace. - Diverse workplace, you'll be hearing all sorts of languages on the floor! Pride month events and frequent diversity and inclusion meetings based on feedback from employees. - Strong commissions schemes from the start, only gets better. - Quick opportunity for promotion. - Very commitment learning and development department, with ongoing training across any seniority.
Cons
- Can be a slow start, however, you get out what you put in. It is largely down to personal commitment to the role, luckily support is always there. - Work hours can be long, however, this ties in with the above. - I believe a large majority of issues around the physical office, culture and incentives has recently been sorted. Those joining now will join a much better business than the one I saw a few years back.
