Good - Senior Android Developer Skrumble Employee Review

- Super friendly coworkers! I met good friends over there :) - Bagel every monday - Place confortable to work, sometime cold - "Monthly" events were very fun! - Good area: located in Yorkville, many restaurant around, easy to transit - Excellent to learn as a first job! good moment to learn new technologies and to learn working with different team (backend, web, mobile, qa, ..)

- Lack of communication! I would constantly ask for update / progress. sometime I felt using Slack would solve most communication problem but still it should be part of the company culture. Also need good documentations to improve the communication between teams - Not so well organized team: Jira is not used well, feature were planned at the last moment. We would never know what's next, and sometime I would involve an entire boring month at the office. The few things that was planned was almost never release on time! - No bonus or extra hours paid: We would stay late for release or hot fix but never get paid for those hours. We don't officially have end of year bonus - Money focus rather than User focus: Skrumble is exclusively founded by investor, most decisions are driven for them. - Not so much open: I felt ignored when I suggested new tools, process, feature, ... Didn't get the credit when an idea/work was actually used!!!
