Pros

My time at SkyTouch was stellar. Great people, helpful leadership, decent pay, and kind perks like catered lunches once a week and fun outings to keep things interesting.

Cons

The building I worked in was super old and just didn't match the cool energy of the people inside creating award-winning software. I think they moved shortly after I left to new digs, so that's probably an improvement. Got through Covid, so that's major.

Pros

SkyTouch and parent company Choice Hotels is definitely on the right side of progress in terms of social issues, being very welcoming and embracing all cultures. Excellent vacation and sick days for new employees, plus some personal days on top of that.

Cons

Unfortunately the culture within the company was very fractured and there were lots of little cliques. If you didn't fit into one you were definitely on the outside. Lots of corporate ladder-climbers who seemed to not think twice about using other people's assistance without acknowledging it. They also lured people in with the promise of two days of telecommuting per week and then took one of those days away in 2025. There is absolutely no need to be in the office for any of the jobs at this company. Many meetings still occur online due to some distance employees who work from home permanently. The main reason they want people in the office in Scottsdale is because that office was leased during COVID and they have to make sense of it. Forcing people into the office for "collaboration" is a ridiculous excuse you will hear time and again. I experience very little in-person collaboration. Also known to lay lots of people off every couple of years. You are nothing but a number here and if that number is too high, you're out when the need arises.
