Pros
Quality graduate engineers, support staff and business team. Say you worked for a rocket company which gets you marginal street cred and can say you yeeted a rocket into the Icelandic coast. very easy to get another job after working here for a bit as people go "oooooooo rockets" then just instantly hire you even though you could probably get a bottle of Pepsi and mentos further than our first launch (to be fair it was a first launch so no stress and no expectations). The names of the projects were cool.
Cons
ultra unrealistic deadlines, design changes that seem to be based on feelings negating months of work. engineering management in general was inexperienced and had/has no business acumen. Terrible terrible salary, just look at what they are paying, it is shocking. Sexism, racism and especially homophobia was a daily thing among some staff. Can't hold onto S tier staff for reasons started above (and many many many many more I cant be bothered / difficult to say without breaking NDA) who were too good for the place (obviously me included but I am not nearly as incredible as some of the staff they couldn't keep a hold of, and if you cant keep hold of me, someone who thinks rockets are pretty cool, you are going to struggle to keep anyone).
