I joined SlicedBrand at a time when things in my personal life were a bit more chaotic. We had more than a few unforeseen circumstances to navigate and SlicedBrand was extremely kind and thoughtful through the process- whether that meant covering my work for a day or two, sending a personal note and flowers, or whatever it may be.
I've really enjoyed the switch from corporate structure back into the startup world, particularly the creative elements! SlicedBrand gives a huge amount of creative control to the Account Executives and is very open-minded when it comes to designing and executing PR strategies.
Cons
Contract work for U.S. based employees;
Work volume can be overwhelming;
Not necessarily a con, but worth noting this is not a job to come into with no PR experience - Account Executives own their accounts from strategy design through media mapping, pitch drafting, and outreach executions. Time management skills are a must.
