Pros
Coworkers are so nice and helpful, they will become your friends and family. Director was great. Community, nonprofit atmosphere makes you feel like you're contributing to something important.
Cons
The CEO is making $473000 per year in this small community nonprofit facility, but most employees haven't had a raise since right after Hurricane Katrina. They blame the high turnover rate on the directors, but really it's because we can go to other facilities and make $4 or $5 more per hour. Shame on the senior management and board for not paying the backbone of the hospital a decent wage while they line their pockets.
