Pros
I haven't been with this company for very long, but in my working career so far, this has been the best company I have worked for! Smart Wave actually cares so much about the happiness of their employees in addition to the customers they help install solar for. They try to make everyone feel welcome as soon as you start at the company, and it is a very tight knit with all of the different departments working so closely together. Something that I have never experienced at a job is a company that wants their employees to have a healthy work/life balance. They understand things come up in life, and they try to be flexible to let you take care of your personal life. I honestly had no experience in solar and they decided to give me a shot. It was never something that I thought I would be doing, but I finally feel fulfilled with doing a job. This company treats you like a person and a benefit to their brand instead of just a number like most companies I have worked for. After such a short time at this company, they have already gotten a dedicated employee out of me, and I hope to be there for a while to come!
Cons
Solar is a constantly changing field so procedures are constantly changing. Starting out new can be hard to keep up, but can be overcome with dedication to learning to keep on top of it. (There's a lot to learn so it takes dedication)
