Pros
BEWARE ! BEWARE ! BEWARE 1) Smartek has beautiful policy for each individual (Example one employee notice period is 1 month, for another person 2 months, another person 3 months and so on.... which you cannot expect from any employer. 2) There is a variable component called "Variable Performance bonus" which is supposed to be given to employee after every month. This has been changed every year without prior notice to employee. 3) Interestingly, none of the employees got 100% of VPA amount in-spite of 5 out of 5 rating which seem to be unethical. The existing good employee friendly culture has been spoiled by newly formed leadership team.
Cons
No one knows about the notice period. Employee can be terminated immediately. HR does not answer your queries properly and does not have good visibility on the policy. Most of the projects are getting closed so getting into a new project is quite impossible so you can be fired immediately. Leadership team wants to SAVE money with freshers and do not want to delivery quality projects to client.
