Pros
A good work culture. As a vessel Master or crew member, Regular timely roster from 2012 to 2022 during my time with the company. As crew had been awarded sponsorship program to upgrading the STCW license. The salary provided was also quite competitive with a good day rate. The company has a safety management system so called SLIMS that is adequate and aligned with industry needs, referring to OCIMF (OVMSA) standards, allowing the crew to learn and making it easier to transition to other organizations that implement similar systems.
Cons
The assignment of personnel at the site does not always align with their competencies. There seems to be a preference for certain nationalities, despite non-European crew members often having superior technical knowledge and competencies. This leads to inefficiency, affecting service quality and increasing organizational costs.
