Pros

You can smoke at most of the locations

Cons

No paid time off, no real breaks, no raises, management is nothing but a joke and is untouchable if you file a complaint, you will be randomly fired for anything even with no write ups if you do complain. Also at the time management was just the friends of the owners and I'm not sure who it is now but Ive heard it's still just as bad.

Pros

Cannabis industry experience. Ability to take smoke breaks. Small business so can interact with marketing , production, lots of areas of a business you wouldn’t get to encounter. Can directly talk to the ceo fairly often. Always opening new locations (though we don’t have the staff for it) and have new products or something going on with the community events.

Cons

Very low pay and no raises for anyone across the company. Even higher in the company 3+ years still no raise, commissions are higher at higher volume stores, cannot choose what location you get sent to, External hires (who end up fired) instead of upward growth for current employees, no posting of jobs within the company that open up , range from horrible managers allowed to coast to people who work very very hard with no praise and just added responsibilities of doing the job of their manager and that’s just expected of you , very inconsistent communication , very very poor building conditions and you cannot raise this as a concern if you want to stay in good graces. You will be talked down to and you just have to accept it. if you’re entry level you’ll stay there unless you’re someone’s friend. If you’re a friend you can get a special position made just for you, if you are not good luck trying to get anyone to even give you the time of day. No sick pay or bereavement. If you have an hr concern it will not get investigated, and you will be considered a problem.
