Pros
It depends on who owns your hotel! Do your research as Covid brought MASSIVE budget cuts and the hotel I worked for went waaaay downhill so so quickly. I loved that place, I even loved doing overtime. Until Covid happened. And once we came back from lockdown, it was clear how they really thought of us. No food, no staff appreciation, no guest amenities, budget cuts everywhere. But in all honesty, everyone I worked with (pretty much, par a few as with any workplace) were wonderful amazing colleagues and made my day every single day. The recruitment team knew what they were doing and they picked some really awesome, fun, loveable, dedicated people, and I'm so happy to have worked there :)
Cons
Cost cutting was valued over employee and guest experience. No follow up on complaints. Getting used to saying Bonjour and Merci all the time ! :)
