7 Years and I'm Still Growing with Softchoice! - People & Growth Softchoice Employee Review

Pros

I have been with Softchoice for almost 7 years and I am still growing and challenged. I started in inside sales and have successfully moved through multiple roles as my strengths were identified and opportunities arose. Softchoice invested me as a potential leader when the time was right and I am now being groomed for potential management opportunities. They have invested almost $1m in a new onboarding program to set people up for success in 2015 and beyond. This is a company to grow with your entire career.

Cons

A lot of complaints here are regarding salary. A large part of Softchoice's business model is that we're a Value Added Reseller and have access to nowhere near the profitability that publishers/manufacturers do. As a result they can't always afford to pay what other industry companies can when they set prices for the products they produce themselves.

Pros

Challenging and interesting work. The potential is there.

Cons

Management does not listen and executives are fed bad information to action on. Director and VP level folks control the narrative and make bad decision after bad decision
