Management is awful.
Communication is terrible when you are working onsite with clients.
The pay is ridiculous as it's doesn't reflect the work you do.
If you join in as a graduate, you will work hard and not get rewarded.
Promotions are given out very sparingly.
Senior management, sales teams and senior consultants all seem to be in a bubble of their own as junior consultants are mostly left out.
Hard to develop skill sets as you are assigned to whatever project is available.
As a consultant you are suppose to be mastering testing but instead with the structure Sogeti have up you can be doing a lot of other things not related to testing (Testing title but no concrete testing experience).
You can be out of work for long periods of time on the bench doing nothing.
Salaries are appalling and pay rises are very limited.
Too much favouritism to 'particular people' during promotion periods.
Offshore sourcing.
They live to their values only when it's suits them.
Focused on way too many aspects of IT and unable to really get their workforce up to speed with technological trends.
Retention rate is poor as it's seems that people that have only just got in want to get out.
Lack of automation training as management expect you to learn it yourself.
Lack of great testing skill set training that can really make you a hot asset to other competitors
