Pros
Despite the awful working environment, my colleagues were amazing. The office building was great with an onsite gym and cafeteria and lots of covered, free parking.
Cons
Absolute chaos! Leadership would constantly pivot and change focus, sometimes based on a whim or for no reason at all. Roles would be opened and recruiting would be screamed at in morning meetings for not having enough candidates or interviews or whatever and 2 days later we would be told to close everything and stall the candidates as the budget was closed. Working there was whiplash. Additionally, the manipulation and demeaning language used towards us directly and indirectly was unprofessional. It was like Middle School with a group of mean girls with fancy titles prancing around using psycho-babble to justify their poor behavior and treatment of others. I cannot fault anyone for leaving. I am surprised that I stayed as long as I did. I was so naive thinking it would get better or if I tried harder, I wouldn't be berated. Joke was on me. Their DEI efforts were pure lip service. I felt so out of place and 'other' constantly.
