Pros

There are not many pros that I can add here. I'm just trying to meet the 20 word minimum. I guess I could say the interview process was a learning experience and pretty easy as well.

Cons

During my time at soliant, nothing ever seemed to add up. They would boost you up and tell you how much support they could offer with no action provided to show this support. This was my first corporate job and was also the worst example of "corporate" I have seen thus far in my career. The managers are mediocre at best and are poor examples of leaders. The kept telling everyone adding more recruiters was a good thing for everybody, but in reality it just made it extremely hard to Grow your Own desk.

Pros

Met some good friends and bonded over shared trauma

Cons

The salary is a misery, there are absolutely no incentives starting at 2% commission - for about a year, commission per month will be about $100 at the very best and yet they lie about first year OTE being about $15k. You’re also encouraged and expected to work over 40 hours a week even though there’s absolutely no incentives to do so and berated when you work what you should: The company has insanely high attrition and turnover rates. The majority of the company is under a year and actively trying to leave. One of their biggest problem is management; the majority of managers should not be in their positions. There’s a toxic culture of pettiness and arrogance. Do not expect to grow professionally at all-I was doing the exact same job as a manager who had been there for almost 10 years. Do not expect to feel supported or heard by any of the higher ups-they actively implements an alarming amount of changes without asking AEs first and then, when they don’t work, they make even more changes. Overall, if you can avoid working at this company, you should. It is a horrible place that preys on new graduates that have limited opportunities.
