My manager was fabulous, others maybe not so much. They are willing to hire without strenuous expertise.

Lack direction from management strategy

Cool workspace. Non-Management employees are pretty good to be around, and do genuinely love animals.

Awful leadership. Very top-down approach. Zero communication from management down. Questionable hires to "senior leadership" positions. There's a VP who cannot complete an email without making at least 10 spelling errors, nor effectively convey simple ideas. This is alarming to see at the VP level, and in hindsight is reflective of the rest of management. They appear to overestimate the value they add to the company, which leads me to believe it's the reason why they are so authoritative in their approach to management. Upper management is very unclear about what they are looking for and, in my experience, seem a little confused. I personally asked clarification of duties, and feedback on work no less than a thousand times and was not once given a clear response if given a response at all. While the rest of employees are pretty nice, almost all of them have expressed doubt in their respective managers and see them as fairly incompetent. Zero continuity between departments.
