Amazing products but awful company - Audio Engineer Solid State Logic Employee Review

Managers are open to new ideas, minimal micromanaging. Exciting environment with great new technology. Different every day, never boring. Benefits are good with 401k match, affordable insurance and fairly generous PTO.

Pay could be better, but that's more the industry than the company.

I was involved in a great project at a major US government institution in Washington, DC. That was fun and challenging. The technology is cutting edge. I learned a lot. I was also managing a project of this size for the first time which was fun. I liked the people I worked with.

Communication between upper management and me was absent. I was completely blind-sided by my firing. I was also told while I was on vacation in Europe. I thought that was rather tasteless. Furthermore, I am still waiting for some of my expenses to be paid.
