Pros
-coworkers (individual contributors) are great.
Cons
Leadership is so unorganized. And this is across all realms at SonicWall. And to make things worse, C-levels really did nothing to correct the company's course. Bad investments, playing catch up with shoddy tech, not fixing all the broken things (PM was a nightmare and operated solely for their own egos, with the exception of two or three in that group), and positioning products with industry naming that never performed as promised. They dumped beta testing on the SE org because it was a way to cut costs, and that did little to improve product stability. There was little to no room to move up, raises were a joke if they were even offered, and somehow the company stayed afloat. It was like watching a rubbish bin on fire, floating down river. Internal in-fighting within mid-tier leadership, seagull management practices, relying on cheap upgrades and "available stock" as reasons to buy... The only logical reason to work here is if you need a job and are okay watching everything burn down around you while people are promoted for the Excel skills. TL;DR - there are other more viable options for employment. Seek those out.
