Pros
Working for Sony is an honor. The company has an amazing history and many of us have grown up with the brand. Work life balance is okay, but the leaner the company gets, the more work there is to do. The technology is always changing which provides opportunities to become part of a team to market that new technology to customers
Cons
Several layoffs over the past few years have decreased employee loyalty and morale is down. Layoffs have made job stability a larger concern. The amount of work with layoffs has increased dramatically. Career path is hard to define in many cases. The larger scale of the company means several layers of approval are needed to move forward with projects in a timely, efficient manner.
