Pros
Direct management and team are great.
Cons
As many others have noted, Sound pays business colleagues well below market if they're loyal and have been with the company for 3+ years. They hire new people into the company at more reasonable salaries, but then that means those who have been loyal and dedicated a lot of time and effort to the company are making less than the new guy. You have a CHANCE of getting up to a 3% "merit increase" each year if your performance is good enough. In this economy, 3% is a joke, and even in a better economy, it's a joke. The C-Suite constantly gets questions about higher pay and constantly deflects them. It's clear there are things happening in the background that will be brought to light sooner than later, which has affected pay and retention. C-Suite simply doesn't care anymore and that very negatively affects all of us "peons" below. There has also been A LOT of turnover in the last year or so and rather than look inwardly at certain managers being a part of the problem, they instead ask "what can we do?" and then proceed to ignore all suggestions.
