I do not even know where to begin.
The company has a serious turnover rate. Staff can leave in a matter of days or even weeks.
The company is run like a circus or rather it is their playground. It will be filled with childish and juvenile behavior. This is the first workplace I have encountered where things are run based on emotions or “being instinctual”.
Directions can be changed even on a day-to-day basis.
The son has illusions of grandeur constantly chanting how the company embraces Skype and hence why they would survive the covid situation. Last I heard some companies actually survive to this day even before the invention of the internet It’s hilarious and just plain ignorant.
He also constantly calls the company a start-up that delivers tech. The definition is wrong in the first place. How is a 6-year-old company a start-up, or is that another comment from someone ignorant again.
Adding to the illusion of grandeur, there is a lot of favoritism as well. Just be a lady, you will be treated like royalty! All rules don’t apply anymore. Oh, wait... it’s a playground right.
Be prepared for meetings when on two days a week, those meetings would always be extended to the night because the son wants to chant about how great the company is. Sometimes I wonder does he know other employers exist?
Just bear with the regurgitation he just wants attention.
Everybody has to be involved in the bi-weekly meetings even when your job scopes differ greatly, you will be forced to listen to little updates about everyone’s performance and I mean EVERYONE.
The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, besides the long meeting hours there is constant reporting that lasts for hours and long discussion based on your job scope. Way after working hours and sometimes even in the weekends.
There are also times when the father would cause issues that are counterproductive and he often shoots his mouth off causing more problems or confusion, be prepared for that.
The dynamic duo is stricken by their own insecurities just bear with it, think of them as children, your stint in the company would be easier. Just remember to pander to their fragile egos. This is important.
Just look at the response from other reviews. You will have a good idea.
