Pros

Historically rich organization. Competitive compensation. Opportunity to cross train in multiple functions. Tied to the community and strong community engagement.

Cons

In the midst of downsizing. Many reductions in force and layoffs since 2011. RIF's are ongoing, and changes will continue to occur, even for new hires. Tenured employees often cater to 'preferred' new candidates. Morale around the environment is low. Many changes in leadership occurring with frequency.

Pros

Pay, they pay very well. Interesting work and SOME very sharp people.

Cons

The department I was in was very toxic. Company claims to be values based but that is a joke. The "leaders" in my OU were abusive and have been reported to HR multiple times by many people. Nothing was ever done. The entire company isn't toxic, its too bad that some of the areas are.
