Pros

Flexible Schedule Free Clothes, Nice work environment (if you have a lovely team) Ability to learn plenty of skills that could lead to different careers

Cons

Corporate office members can have a passive attitude, "pick me environment", and " hive mind" approach at times. If you don't dress or act like a "preppy blogger", you can get the short end of the stick, no full appreciation of your work, and passive aggressive attitudes at times. Management and corporate have the tendency to give out directions for major moves, then abruptly change them last minute leading to confusion and anger on both sides. There is a trend of favoritism within the company. There are people within the company that legit do not have the proper credentials for their role, yet this is ignored because they are well liked. This just makes the company as a whole suffer when needs within said roles are not met. Some people go against the rules, yet, they enforce these same rules on to others. For example, a team leader will enforce the team to follow a strict, in-season dress code, while wearing whatever he, she, or his/her favorite team mate wants. Corp and management want you to push more product and boost metrics without carefully listening to feedback from both guests and employees. The company needs to have more promotional sales to get rid of excess product and efficiently manage its resources for better quality items. Lastly, scapegoating is a major issue. A lot of people from retail staff up to corp, do not want to take accountability for issues facing the brand and company. Some people would rather just place the blame and stress on to someone else to just not deal with these problems, especially to someone they do not like.
