Pros

The CEO and founder is kind, and passionate. The President/ cofounder is kind also, (although inexperienced, nervous, and also reactionary -- has a bit of a wall street machismo trade floor persona that he plays for gos knows what reason) the field is interesting -- the science is cool.

Cons

The product, it's not a great idea -- who wants to neuro-test their advertisements. also the software crashes not infrequently. Frequent layoffs The COO was unstable and undereducated. She had a temper, was immature, pretty embarrassing to the company whenever she spoke to external people-- they did let her go because of complaints from management, but after she'd already let a handful of good people go, messed up the direction of organization, and I'm pretty sure two or three people quit after working with her. Office vibe a bit better now but direction still scattered. No dental No food

I was not there long enough to experience any cons.

Pros

The leadership at SPARK really cares about finding ways to improve people's brain health. This creates a warm, positive, supportive environment.

Cons

As is the case for a lot of startups, the long-term approach wasn't always clear, and we sometimes had to pivot hard to a different project.
