Pros
Life at Speedway has been so depressing for such a long time I can not think of any Pros at this time.
Cons
Recently the bonus program has been reconfigured so managers are receiving a $0 bonus. We now basically make what our assistant managers make. We are now being required to work every other Saturday even though when we signed on we where promised only having to work one Saturday a month. Speedway claims they are a family company, but every decision they make seems to negatively effect the employees family. When I started as a Co-Manager I new I would have to work difficult hours. I worked hard waiting for the day I would advance to store manager to be able to have a more balanced schedule with my family. This is no longer the case. Many managers are debating leaving the company because of this.
