Pros

Supportive management, growth opportunities, team-focused culture, incentives, skill-building challenges, and a commitment to safety and respect.

Cons

Seasonal demand around holidays can make the pace intense, but time-off is honored for major holidays, balancing workload with personal time.

Pros

Weekly pay, that's about it. You are on the road.

Cons

This job being Amazon delivery is going to be tough by nature however this DSP does nothing to help you. The equipment is questionable. Making an otherwise easy job way harder than it has to be. They say take your breaks but you will most certainly get behind in your route. The more stops you do the more you get then having to go rescue someone else as reward for doing a good job. Very stressful job

Pros

The pros are I got paid and I went home

Cons

I worked for this company for less than a year and it was the worst job I have had. They lied to me numerous times , they overwork you and they are straight up unprofessional young brained people working at the desk. Please work somewhere else and don’t waste your time. If you want a better job “X4 Logistics” in Windsor is the best they actually care about you more than this company .

Spelman Logistics Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At Spelman Logistics, we value all input as it helps us refine and improve the employee experience. However, it’s important to address some inaccuracies and clarify our practices to provide a balanced perspective. 1. Employee Coaching and Workplace Examples: At Spelman Logistics, we believe in a culture of continuous improvement and constructive coaching. Our team uses real-world workplace examples during training sessions to guide employees on best practices and how to handle challenges effectively. This approach is intended to foster growth and accountability, not to single anyone out or misrepresent situations. 2. Nature of the Work: We are upfront during interviews about the demanding nature of delivery work. This role is physically and mentally challenging, but it can also be highly rewarding for those who embrace the opportunity. We encourage candidates to seek roles that align with their skills and expectations, but it is neither fair nor professional to blame the employer for the inherent challenges of the job. 3. Suspect Claims: The review mentions employment with another Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), which is against Amazon’s policy for delivery associates, as they cannot work for two DSPs at the same time. This inconsistency raises questions about the accuracy of the review. Additionally, X4 Logistics in Windsor, CT, is not even an actual operating business - furthermore validating these concerns for the accuracy of this review. 4. Company Culture and Professionalism: Our leadership team and staff at Spelman Logistics are committed to professionalism, respect, and transparency. We work diligently to ensure all employees feel supported and treated fairly. Disparaging terms like “young brained people” do not align with the inclusive and respectful culture we strive to maintain. 5. Encouragement to Seek Opportunities: While we’re proud of the environment we’ve built, we recognize that not every job is the right fit for everyone. We sincerely wish this individual the best in their future endeavors and hope they find a role better suited to their preferences and abilities. If you are a current or former employee with specific concerns, we encourage you to reach out to our management team directly so we can address them constructively. - Spelman Logistics Team
