Pros

There were no pros for me.

Cons

Ended up having to work extremely long hours on weekends and holidays. On work trips I was encouraged to sleep in my car for an hour at a time and then get right back to work in the middle of the night. I was scolded for sleeping for more than 4 hours one night while on a work trip. So running on 3-4 hours of segmented sleep each night for 5 nights in a row. On top of that, I was never compensated with pay or given days off to make up the weekend/holiday work. They demanded that you be back at work for Monday-Friday even if you had just worked straight through a weekend or holiday with no sleep. This was basically a job with zero vacation days because I ended up working more weekend days and holidays than what I was given for PTO. Everything is micromanaged (from the very top down) with a fear based management style, and they use the “we’re a family”, “this is start up culture” and “this is what you signed up for” lines when you raise concerns. They hire young people that they can take advantage of and they pay the absolute bare minimum. Took me years to write this review because of how traumatized I was working here. Avoid the production/ operations department at all costs.

Pros

Good product and some good people

Cons

Lack of leadership competency: Key decision-makers lacked understanding of DSD, retail chain dynamics, and national account strategy. Leadership routinely ignored feedback from experienced field employees. No real support or resources: Impossible expectations with no tools, training, or internal alignment. “Figure it out” culture that rewarded survival over strategy. Toxic internal politics: Promotions and titles were based on favoritism, not merit. Inexperienced individuals were elevated to VP roles with no qualifications, leading to micromanagement and disorganization. Gaslighting culture: Constant invalidation of concerns. Promises of growth, recognition, and support were made and never followed through. No career development: Zero investment in professional development or mentorship. Burnout was common, especially for those carrying the weight of multiple departments. Eroding values: What started as a mission-driven company slowly became performative. Diversity, transparency, and accountability were talked about but never acted on.
