The people were nice, but everyone's so stretched thin that we all ended up disgruntled with each other from being over-worked.
Cons
Where do I start? Senior management is so busy pretending to be businessmen to impress each other that they are completely oblivious to what's actually going on within the company. Senior management is composed of a team of men who honestly do not know the job functionalities of their teams. You can openly tell who the favorites are. They do not have competitive salaries which is fine if you're just trying to get your foot in the door to this industry, but I would still advise against it. They do not pay their freelancers on time which happens sometimes, but it's infuriating when you can openly see that the CEOs are frivolously spending. Be prepared to be stretched thin and to get volunteered to do things outside of your job description ie photographing the CEO's daughter's art work. Also, if you're a woman, be fully prepared to overhear inappropriate comments. Don't waste your breath complaining to HR either; it'll take them days to get back to you with multiple follow-ups and the people at fault (also upper management) will just get a slap on the wrist. I wish it weren't true, but this is only the tip of the iceberg of problems. This company is a joke in comparison to other companies in the industry, and is going nowhere fast. I know people usually think that only people who left on bad terms write bad reviews, but I've worked with a lot people at this company who came in hopeful and bright-eyed (they sell a good story). Once you begin to actually see how the company functions, you'll notice that you've been sold short.
