Pros

The remote/async culture is amazing. There are almost no meetings and communication is very efficient. People are friendly and experienced. Engineers value quality over speed. The product is well built. Users are constantly listened to improve features. Management cares about employees and the CEO is very wise about the company's vision and strategy.

Cons

It may be difficult to connect socially with your peers, and this can be a challenge for your mental health. If you're used to relying on work to make friends and social connections, you'll need to adapt and find other ways to maintain your social life.

Hi, and thank you for your review! Glad to hear that you enjoy the remote/async culture and that you think we do it well :). Great to have a shout-out for the quality work we do here too. I agree that the social side of things are not the same as an onsite, office environment - remote work is definitely not for everyone. I am really keen to attract a diverse range of super-talented people to join the team and I only see that improving as we grow. Sadie, TA Manager

This was a great review for me to open up on a Monday Morning! Thank you 🙏 Yep, working async/remote can be lonely sometimes, and it's not for everyone! And it takes a fair bit of getting used to if you haven't worked like this before. Generally speaking, like the OP, our folks find that the trade-off is well worth it and enjoy all the flexibility, autonomy and trust that comes with it. Sadie, Director - TA
