Pros
They tend to show a positive face to the public.
Cons
But once you hear from past advertisers, employees, and people who aren't struggling desperately to keep it afloat, it's clear there's some real problems with the company starting from the top down. It's impossible to offer any constructive criticism because management has their noses stuck up and ears turned away. Their hiring process has some severe issues that are evident in the fact that they are a revolving door for employees. I read some reviews of the company prior to working there, and I'm sad to say they are nearly all true- but I had to learn the lesson myself. If you're looking for experience, do it with a company who cares about you and with whom you have a future beyond the next paycheck. The employees who really made a difference there moved on, showing there's ALWAYS a better place to work than Spotlight.
