Pros
I’ve been working at spring strategies for six months now, this was my first sales / marketing position and I didn’t have any experience going in to it. I am really grateful for all the training the company provides it was a big help. I’ve already earned one promotion so far and I’m on track to reach another one by the end of the year! I also like the company’s pay structure, there is a commission scale that has no cap and the company also offers a weekly base pay (nothing crazy but a lot of the companies I was interviewing with for sales and marketing positions were only offering 100% commission starting out) the weekly base salary was really nice especially when I was new and just starting to pick things up. Now I’ve got a good handle on things and I’m making $800-$1,200 a week in commissions alone.
Cons
Nothing really, it was a little frustrating in the beginning when I wasn’t picking things up as quickly as I wanted to but that’s not really the companies fault. It’s a full time commitment (especially if you want to move though the management training program) so if you are looking for more of a side hustle or just a clock-in clock-out job this probably won’t be the right fit for you.
