Pros
Squaremouth has a fun and unique workplace and culture. It is a very open and collaborative environment, and there are tons of opportunities for interaction among all employees both inside and outside of the office, including regular morning meetings and FOF, Friday afternoons when everyone gets together for a drink at the end of the day. But beyond the cool office, this is a place where you can truly progress and make things happen. If you're hardworking and motivated, you can move up in the company, gain great experience, and tackle the projects and challenges that interest you. Many employees have progressed very quickly up or into completely different roles or departments based on their interests and talents. Squaremouth values people with the right attitude and, because of the size of the company, employees are easily recognized for their talents and encouraged to pursue them.
Cons
This kind of environment is not right for everyone. The work can be challenging, and there are many times when you may be blazing your own trails - and perhaps failing hard. Employees are encouraged to admit when they're wrong and to "fail in public" in order to get better. You must be able to take critical feedback and to recognize that this is a company that does things differently. This can be uncomfortable at first but for the right people, this can be an incredible opportunity to become better.
