Pros

Great doctors to work with.

Cons

Toxic work environment, bullying from coworkers/ management, favoritism from management and higher ups, HR department does not have any interest of any issues relayed to them. I do not recommend working for st Clair internal medicine until they get better management.

Pros

Management was very kind, encouraging, and people I could lean on.

Cons

Pay was not super but understandable for the position. Working around or on Holidays as well since it is a hospital.

Pros

Small regional hospital with a generally friendly and welcoming staff.

Cons

- Understaffing: Despite the hospital not being overwhelmingly busy, the pharmacy department is critically understaffed. This puts additional pressure on remaining staff and compromises patient care and safety. - Lack of Management Support: There is a consistent lack of engagement from management when it comes to addressing employee concerns or departmental challenges. - Unresponsive HR: HR has repeatedly failed to act on formal complaints submitted by staff members. Issues remain unresolved and are often dismissed without follow-up. - Persistent Harassment: There have been multiple reports of harassment within the pharmacy department. These have been submitted over time with no meaningful intervention, creating a toxic work environment. - High Turnover: Five full-time pharmacists have resigned in the last six months, all citing similar concerns. No investigations have been initiated, and the underlying issues remain ignored. - Poor Inventory Collaboration: The inventory team works in isolation and often treats pharmacy staff with disrespect. Bullying and uncooperative behavior are common and unchecked. - Ineffective IT Systems: The current computer systems are outdated and unreliable, contributing to frequent workflow disruptions. The IT department appears unprepared to provide adequate support or lasting solutions. These issues stand in stark contrast to the otherwise friendly and cooperative environment in other parts of the hospital. However, they continue to significantly impact morale, retention, and the ability to provide quality care within the pharmacy.
