Pros
Good benefits, often gift surprise days off, great coworkers
Cons
Structure of company can make team collaboration difficult
Pros
Great company incentives and perks, like snacks in the office, company events, etc
Cons
The job itself is a lot and somewhat draining but the perks make it worth it
Pros
401k company match, medical, decent maternity/paternity leave, good people, sometimes you have room to grow, sometimes they have food trucks for happy hours
Cons
Layoffs happen often and randomly and no one understands why besides the company not doing well so people constantly fear they may lose their job. The person sitting next to you one day, may be gone the next with no warning or reason. They say they want life work balance but you're often required to give way more than that and often work past scheduled work hours to complete things. Rules being made for people when management isn't required to follow them, People are required to come into the office and work, despite having a better work/life balance working remote. Friendships matter more here than work/contribution. Those who are friends with the higher ups, get better opportunities, bypass being on a team with rules or management and are less likely to be let go. The drama with the higherups has been WILD. Most of it's publicly available as well. It's like CEO hot potato here. The same people get rewarded every Christmas party it seems in the last few years. I'm not sure they're aware other people work for their company. The bonuses over the years have dwindled to very little and there are hardly any raises to compete with inflation.
