      Working at Star House has been great. They are great at promoting within the organization. They assist with professional and personal growth. I love working with people who are very passionate about the work we do and the people we serve.

      Pros

      I have one of the best jobs, I get to see all of the generosity of the community. Especially during the Holidays, person after person is willing to give of themselves and of their belongings to help people.

      Cons

      It's one of the worst jobs because unfortunately I do see the needs and troubles of those experiencing homelessness. It does take a toll on you emotionally.

      Needs MORE drop-in centers and housing to meet growth in demand for services to youth
