In the past couple of years Owner has shifted his focus into increasing and increasing revenues and does not care about the people making it happen. Despite meeting the targets he is still scrimping on his people. People who do not have leadership qualities but was only able to develop a nice application gets promoted resulting in them mismanaging their business units. My boss does not care about my extensive experience, His reasoning is he did not see my past performance hence I should start again as if I were a new hire with him greatly affecting my chances for promotion coupled with the owner scrimping on people chances for moving up is zero.
