10yAs the owner of a family-own 4th generation business, it is important to address this concern directly. The writer’s choice of headline “NEPOTISM and RACISM” is disheartening. Steiner employs people without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other characteristic protected by federal, state and local laws. We’ve had an open door policy that includes the President and every Steiner manager.
In addition to the Kerman family, there are other families who have worked for Steiner for generations. We are grateful for their many accomplishments and service to Steiner over the last 99 years. As a family business, our time horizon for Steiner spans generations, not months or quarters. It is who we are.
