      Pros

      Stem has a lot of smart people who want to see the company be successful. Pay is competitive for the Bay Area. HR does monitor pay to insure pay equity/fairness for people in similar roles.

      Cons

      Stem has gone through a lot of business and leadership changes in the last couple of years. The pace of change makes it hard to execute on any long term projects or get much of a sense of team. You have to stay focused on 90 day deliverables if you want to be happy/successful.

      I've really enjoyed the culture here at Stem. Working directly with the leadership team and HR has been an incredible experience. Their dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive culture is truly inspiring. Work-life balance is highly prioritized, with flexible policies that support employees.

      Cons

      No significant cons—just the usual growing pains of a company striving to improve, which leadership actively addresses.

      Pros

      I learned a lot about energy storage technology and got solid sales curiosity training that strengthened my fundamentals and confidence in customer conversations.

      Cons

      The pace and ambiguity could be exhausting, and the leadership style sometimes felt unreasonable and fear-based, which made it harder to do sustainable, high-quality work.
