Top Management does not respect employees’ personal time. Meetings are called last minute after the official working hours.
There is poor teamwork among departments. Everybody points finger when things go wrong and tries to protect his/her own turf. And many things do go wrong here and hence the work environment becomes hostile.
The work environment is tough for those involved in production, those directly supporting production (e.g. QAQC, Supply Chain) and sales. Some other supporting departments seem ok though. It boils down to the work nature and the head of department.
Some blue eyed boys / girls do get preferential treatment. Some who know how to flatter the bosses could also make it.
