Pros
The colleagues were lovely and I enjoyed working on different matters at my team.
Cons
The training and general supervision needs to be clearer and more organised because there were instances when I had to learn a completely different approach on using some of the software than what I was taught during the training sessions. It would have been fine later when I got used to the role better but this just left me confused and frustrated. Supervision was a bit lacklustre and the team had contrasting standards on how email correspondence should be drafted. I felt like my supervisor did not really want to supervise me as their critique lacked guidance on how I can improve on certain things (some of the feedback was not even communicated to me until later) and they were also very busy handling client matters. Pretty clique - if you don't fit their standard of a person and not willing to handle a combo of PA and paralegal jobs, you are out. They do not accommodate neurodivergent people in the role.
