Pros

Executive team cares. They care about employees, They care about customers (well being not just that they pay bills). They care about their customer's customers (provide products that help everyone).

Cons

Like all companies executive team still needs to answer to a board and provide ROI to owners so there is significant pressure to maintain margins and sometimes there might be unexpected changes to be able to move towards that goal.

Pros

Great company culture, works hard to make progressive and beneficial decisions. Doesn't tend to allow corporate bureaucracy to impede growth. I felt respected and appreciated. Salary was slightly above average, benefits are great.

Cons

Organizational instability (somewhat due to the lack of corporate bureaucracy slowing down major changes like re-orgs), going through a period of downsizing in order to put more focus on a specific division. Tend to switch gears on major initiatives before seeing them to fruition, this can be good and bad. Causes a lot of upheaval that takes time to recover from but it's also good to know when to cut your losses on some things. They have had, in the past, some resource distribution issues that caused focus in the wrong areas leading to production slowness and missed development deadlines. However, the recent shift in focus should alleviate a lot of that.
