Pros
I don't even think there is any? Near to mrt maybe. Other than that absolutely nothing. Other reviewers were right. Unless you want to get promoted easily then, this place is for you.
Cons
Structure is very messy. A lot of people from different departments have overlapping responsibilities which makes it confusing on who should do what which causes unnecessary double work. On paper it sounds direct but my guess is they just copy pasted it from different job ads. Employee benefits is so bad its not even worth it to consider this place for your career. Very strict 9-6pm with lunches set at 12.30-1.30pm (used to be 1-2pm). Clock in early and you still have to leave at 6 or you go lunch at 1 and you still have to be in office by 1.30pm. No compromises. New employees get 14 days AL but PRO-RATED even after confirmation. You basically need to wait a month to sort of "collect" your AL and if you'd like to take a long leave but you haven't collected your AL, it will be considered as unpaid leave (which they don't have issues with). The office environment is open but very stuffy because of how PACKED it is. Overall office is very small even meeting rooms are very limited (3) with 1 boardroom and 2 small meeting rooms enough for 6 people each. Medical claims is just RM500 a year. Yes you saw it right no typo no nothing. With 2 visits to the clinic that 500 will immediately turn to 0. As for the system, it is still VERY manual. Multiple approvals both physical and digitally. Very pre-historic as another user said. No powerbi no sap no tableau nothing of the current era which is funny because this company is considered medium instead of small with New Era, Roxy, Billabong, Tous Les Jour, By wishtrend under them. All the nike levis jordans etc are just kid's clothing. They do not distribute adult items for those brands. A lot of dying brands and unnecessary new businesses open like The marathon shop/grams 28/ etc. Back to the system, its messy, its old, and even the interface looks like its in the 90s to early 00s. Oh also, an influx of new hires from gmg ever since the head of marketing was hired which you guessed it is from gmg. Environment here is very "groupey". They like to talk amongst themselves and their own team and seldom communicate with others. Very high turnover rate. You have multiple people leaving at the same time. If you ever applied here at least ask for 30% increase from your previous salary because the benefits are very shh... oh its on-site work so don't even think about wfh. Parking is hell and expensive so majority uses the mrt.
