Pros
Beautiful properties, benefits, franchise discounts, almost always hiring for one of their departments. I loved a lot of my coworkers and am still very close with them. I've been in the hospitality industry for a few years and this was one of the best managed properties I've worked at in terms of operations.
Cons
The pay is not high enough for the job demands, but this is an industry wide problem. My safety as a female employee wasn't taken seriously enough. Complaints from lower level employees were often ignored, especially if they were about the management staff. I was even told that the default position of management is to back each other up when a lower level employee has a complaint. Said management staff weren't reliably in the office or on call. I was confronted about my mental health in the middle of the lobby after being upset about sexism from a guest--inappropriate is an understatement.
