      Medicine and animal care (depending on department)

      Cons

      Management will bully you to do what they want. For example threatening people’s jobs and hours for not working in a different department. Does not legally pay right. For example if you have a FB bonus and it doesn’t get put on the upcoming pay period, you have to wait a whole other pay cycle. Same has happened to people vacation and sick time.

      Pros

      Great medicine, fantastic doctors, high standard of care; great place to learn and grow as an assistant. Pretty decent pet benefits which seem to increase if you're well liked.

      Cons

      They will work you to death if you let them, they only have a minimal capacity for compassion and empathy and it is quickly revoked when you begin advocating for yourself
