They say there are lots of ways to build a career but once you try and get to another position they accept you then take it away without consulting you about it and why they no longer want you in that position so you’re just stuck in the same spot. Communication is key if something is going on communicate with the ones that need to be told don’t just assume they know or think someone else will tell them, just go to that person and tell them yourself.
