Sunflower Group

Is this your company?

Not the most professional, but a good starting place. - Account Manager Sunflower Group Employee Review

Pros

Working from home. Some very nice people. Good work/home balance if you're in a non-call center department.

Cons

Management does not have your back if a mistake is made. Work is extremely manual for Account Coordinators, which causes many inevitable errors. These processes should be automated (and COULD be very easily). Most of the non-executive level employees are very young, in their first job out of college, which leads to a lot of unprofessional behavior because they are not being properly trained by upper management. These are people also being put in supervisor roles and should not be. Benefits are extremely expensive but that's not really Sunflower, it's the company that bought them out (Advantage Solutions) based in California. There is absolutely NO opportunities for advancement unless you're already in an upper management role. It was once a great company when it was family owned but they are struggling with learning how to be "corporate" and "professional" and losing a lot of very good employees to larger companies with more opportunities and much better technology.

Pros

For a teenager, the pay is good.

Cons

They say they work around you but they don’t usually take your outside life into consideration as they say they do. For an adult, the pay is terrible. They scold you harder than any big business I’ve ever seen. People quit every other week if that tells you ANYTHING.
