Pros

Absolutely great place to work. The people are friendly warm and know when to have a laugh. There is a good inclusive atmosphere and a very all round good experience

Cons

Sometimes it can be quite hectic at peak times. The tasks are long but that really is the nature of the job in all honestly.

Pros

In so many ways, Superfish is the best of both worlds. As a company, Superfish has the benefits of a start-up culture with the security and sophistication of an established company. It's a super-fast growth company (we were recently honored as the #1 fastest-growing software company by Inc. Magazine) but with stable management and processes. It's a small company in that everyone can have a big impact on the product without a lot of layers or politics. But because we generate a lot of revenue, we also operate the company as an established business. As to the work we do, we're tackling a novel space--visual search--in an established industry. The problems we need to solve require expertise from disciplines from computer science to human psychology. As an employee, you need to exercise both your analytical left brain and your creative right brain. The challenges here are always interesting and if you like solving puzzles, this place is for you.

Cons

I've always said that our biggest problem is that our eyes are bigger than our stomach. By that, I mean that we can do so many different things with visual search technology so focusing on a few core bets has always been the challenge.

Pros

Interesting product and technology. Things get done pretty quickly, lots of fast iteration on the product. More interesting than working on some enterprise software or another me-too social network app.

Cons

Most of the engineering team is in Israel, so you have to get used to the time difference in working with them. Also, parking has gotten tough recently, not too bad but not as easy as it used to be.
